It's a perfect time to read or re-read Kristen Welch's blog post from October 2014: "Raising Daughters in a World that Devalues Them: 7 Things We Must Tell Them." 

Two years later during a harsh presidential campaign in 2016, "when the news broke about Donald Trump's immoral and disgusting remarks about women," Kristen posted this article: "Raising Sons in a World That Disrespects Women."
